Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen.
~ John Steinbeck
‘Rabbits’ was drawn during a visit to a local cafe. It was a quiet afternoon and winter was finally melting away.
I opened up my sketchbook to a blank page, took a sip of coffee, and waited for a moment of inspiration.
The clouds began to part and then the sun started to stream across the table. The light casted an abstract shadow - a pair of pointy ears.
So I drew a rabbit.
And then I drew another. And another. And another.
